The third annual Goodwill Starts with You! Gala, organized by Goodwill North Central Wisconsin (NCW) and presented by Capital Credit Union, is scheduled to take place at the Lambeau Field Atrium in Green Bay on October 1, 2025. Nearly 700 guests are expected to attend, including community leaders and government dignitaries.
Attendees will hear stories from individuals who have overcome barriers through participation in Goodwill NCW programs. The event will also present data that demonstrates the impact these programs have had on the community.
A highlight of the evening will be recognition of three individuals whose experiences reflect Goodwill NCW’s mission to “Elevate People by Eliminating Barriers to Employment.” These individuals will receive awards as the Edgar J. Helms: Achiever of the Year, Graduate of the Year, and Veteran of the Year for 2025.
Goodwill NCW leadership will be available for interviews before the event from 4:30 to 5 p.m., with prior requests required at least one day in advance.
The gala begins with registration and networking at 5 p.m., followed by dinner at 6 p.m. The main program starts at 7 p.m., featuring Chris Hess, President and CEO of Goodwill NCW; Christyn Abaray, Vice President at Lawrence University; Board Chair of Goodwill NCW; and presentation of the 2025 Edgar J. Helms Award winners.
