The Manitowoc County Historical Society Museum and Pinecrest Village will host a Neighbors Free Weekend on October 17 and 18 at their location, 924 Pinecrest Road in Manitowoc. The event offers free admission to all residents of Manitowoc County.
Neighbors Free Weekend is designed to recognize local community members and promote understanding of the area’s history. Visitors are invited to walk through the Historic Village and learn about stories from the past.
To access free admission, attendees must show either a driver’s license or a utility bill with a qualifying zip code at the McAllister House Welcome Center Admissions area.

The Manitowoc County Historical Society operates as a living history museum located in Eastern Wisconsin’s Kettle Moraine countryside. The museum spans 60 acres and includes a Welcome Center with exhibits and research services, as well as Pinecrest Historical Village—a collection of over 25 historic buildings furnished to reflect life during the early 1900s in Manitowoc County. Many items used by interpreters are original artifacts or accurate reproductions based on historical research.
