Lakeshore College student Sienna Schreiber has been awarded a $1,000 Chime Workforce Scholarship from the Phi Theta Kappa Foundation. The scholarship is aimed at high-achieving two-year college students who are pursuing career and technical education.

Schreiber is studying health information management and medical coding at Lakeshore College. She is a member of the college’s chapter of Phi Theta Kappa and has consistently made the dean’s list. Schreiber expects to graduate from both programs in December 2025.

The Phi Theta Kappa honor society recognizes academic achievement among students at associate degree-granting colleges and provides opportunities for leadership and scholarly growth.

Outside her studies, Schreiber participates in children’s events at her local library, as well as other community programs and farmers markets.

Lakeshore College educates more than 9,000 students each year and offers individualized learning experiences focused on real-world skills. The institution operates campuses in Cleveland, Manitowoc, and Sheboygan, along with other sites throughout its district. Each year about 800 students graduate from Lakeshore, with associate degree graduates reporting a median salary of $61,355 within six months after graduation. The college has received national recognition from organizations such as Washington Monthly, Forbes, WalletHub.com, the Aspen Institute, and was named the 2021 Large Business/Industry of the Year by the Chamber of Manitowoc County.
