Take Note Studio, based in Manitowoc, has been recognized as a Top Program by Kindermusik International, a leading provider of music-based education for young children. The award, known as the Kindermusik Top Program Conductor’s Circle, highlights programs that demonstrate excellence in early childhood music education.

Jessica Hanson, owner of Take Note Studio and a Kindermusik Accredited Educator, has led the studio since 2006. Under her direction, the studio serves families from Manitowoc, Sheboygan, and De Pere. The team includes 12 educators who reach more than 250 children annually through Kindermusik classes and another 200 students through instrument lessons.

Kelly Green, President of Kindermusik International, stated: “At Kindermusik, our mission is to reach every child with the power of joyful music-making. To be recognized as a Top Program means these Accredited Educators are not only delivering high-quality, research-backed musical learning, but they are also tremendous brand ambassadors—bringing Kindermusik to life for families, community organizations, and schools in their communities.”

Take Note Studio collaborates with local organizations such as Above & Beyond Children’s Museum and Sheboygan Head Start. The studio has also established an arts-based playschool for children ages three to five that uses both music and visual arts in its curriculum.

This year marks Take Note Studio’s twentieth anniversary serving the area.
