The Manitowoc County Historical Society and the Mid-Lakes Rustic Iron Club will host the Mid-Lakes Agricultural Fair and Thresheree on September 6 and 7, 2025. The event will take place at the Manitowoc County Historical Society Museum and Pinecrest Village, located at 924 Pinecrest Road in Manitowoc. Activities are scheduled from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
The fair will feature antique farming demonstrations, hands-on activities, and displays related to Wisconsin’s agricultural history. Visitors can see historic equipment in operation, participate with the threshing crew, and view various presentations throughout the weekend. A parade through Pinecrest Village is planned for both days at noon.
Exhibitions will be held inside the Two Creeks Town Hall, which will serve as an Exhibition Hall for community members to display items such as beans, flower arrangements, pies, and needlework.
Tram service will be provided for guests with mobility needs. Food and beverages will also be available on site.
Admission costs are $15 for adults, $13 for seniors, $10 for youth ages 4-17, while children under four enter free. Members of the historical society receive free admission. Tickets can be purchased either upon arrival or in advance.
Sponsors of this year’s fair include Country Visions, CP Feeds LLC, Dramm Corporation, Seehafer News, and Skana Aluminum.
On Sunday of the event weekend, FFA and 4H participants are eligible for free admission.
“Fairs are an exciting time for any agricultural community throughout history, and residents couldn’t wait to show off their best work and harvest! Visit activities in the historic structures of Pinecrest Village, see historic equipment demonstrations, and join the threshing crew,” organizers stated.
