Lakeshore College has announced it will relocate its Sheboygan campus from 1320 Niagara Ave. to the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Sheboygan campus at 1 University Dr. The transition is set to take place on September 2, with Lakeshore College sharing facilities with UW-Green Bay.

Both institutions are coordinating efforts to update signage at the new location to reflect Lakeshore College’s presence. This move comes after the two schools launched their joint FORWARD program in April.

The FORWARD program offers a pathway for students in the Sheboygan area who are interested in nursing or education careers. Participants can earn an associate degree through Lakeshore and then complete a bachelor’s degree with UW-Green Bay without leaving the region. Classes for this program are available locally at both Lakeshore’s Cleveland campus and the UW-Green Bay Sheboygan campus, as well as online.

Lakeshore College, previously known as Lakeshore Technical College, educates over 9,000 students each year across multiple campuses including locations in Cleveland, downtown Manitowoc, and Sheboygan. The college has received national recognition from several organizations and was named the 2021 Large Business/Industry of the Year by the Chamber of Manitowoc County. Each year about 800 students graduate from Lakeshore, with associate degree graduates reporting a median salary of $61,355 within six months after graduation.
