The Lakeshore Wind Ensemble Association is set to present its upcoming concert, "Music of the Masters: Chicago Showcase," on Saturday, October 11 at 7:30 PM. The event will take place at the Capitol Civic Centre in Manitowoc.
This performance marks the 42nd concert season for the ensemble and is part of their "Celebrating American Treasures" series. The program will feature brass compositions by William Hines from the Chicago Staff Band, including “Fantasy on a Mountain Song” and an arrangement of “Amazing Grace.”
Guest euphonium soloist Brad Say from the Chicago Brass Band will perform “The Green Hill.” In addition to these pieces, attendees can expect highlights from the musical "Chicago."
