Manitowoc, WI – The Chamber of Manitowoc County has launched a new program called ONBOARD Concierge Services. This initiative aims to assist businesses and their potential employees with relocation to the area. The program is part of the Chamber's ongoing efforts to support workforce attraction and retention by offering personalized relocation assistance.
ONBOARD Concierge Services provides resources for new residents, including guided tours of the area, welcome gift boxes, and connections to community amenities such as housing and schools. It helps job candidates and their families understand what the region offers in terms of lifestyle and opportunities.
“Relocation can be overwhelming, especially when moving to a new community for a job opportunity. Our ONBOARD Concierge Services provide tailored support to make that transition as easy as possible,” said Abbey Quistorf, Executive Director of the Chamber of Manitowoc County. “By offering personalized tours, connecting recruits to local resources, and supporting companies with a seamless onboarding experience, we hope to create lasting impressions and help attract and retain top talent.”
The program includes customized 90-minute tours showcasing housing options, schools, parks, local businesses, and key amenities based on recruits' needs. Companies can also purchase curated welcome gift boxes filled with local goodies.
Available to all businesses in Manitowoc County looking to support new hires or relocating employees, companies can request tours or purchase gift boxes through the Chamber’s website.
