Lakeshore College in Cleveland, Wisconsin, is organizing two summer camps aimed at middle and high school students to explore careers that are currently in demand. The camps will take place on the college's Cleveland campus.
The Coding & Cyber Camp is scheduled for June 16-18 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., followed by a lunch and open house for participants and their families on June 19 from noon to 1 p.m. This camp is free of charge and specifically designed for high school students. The FABLABulous College Exploration Camp will run from June 16-19, from 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m., targeting students aged 11-13. Participants will engage in activities related to robotics, 3D printing, laser cutting, mechanical design, among other hands-on experiences. Lakeshore College provides education to over 9,000 students annually with a focus on real-world skills and individualized learning experiences. It was previously known as Lakeshore Technical College and has been recognized nationally as a top-tier two-year college by several organizations including Washington Monthly, Forbes, WalletHub.com, the Aspen Institute, and others.
