Lakeshore College in Cleveland, Wisconsin, is preparing to celebrate its spring graduation on Saturday, May 10. Nearly 300 students will complete their educational journeys at the event held on the college's campus.
The ceremony will see the awarding of almost 450 credentials, including associate degrees, technical diplomas, and certificates. Additionally, more than 100 Registered Apprenticeships, General Education Development (GED) certificates, and High School Equivalency Diplomas (HSEDs) will be conferred.
Dr. Paul Carlsen, President of Lakeshore College, stated: “We are proud of the achievements each student has made throughout their educational journey at Lakeshore College. Our faculty and staff look forward to the impact they will make in our communities and beyond. This is the ripple effect of their success and the quality education they have received.”
Lakeshore's graduation is distinctively family-friendly. Each academic area has a designated time for degree conferral; however, students and supporters can attend when convenient for them.
The schedule for the day includes:
- Health and Public Safety: 9-10 a.m.
- Advanced Manufacturing, Agriculture, Automotive, and Registered Apprentices: 10-10:45 a.m.
- Break: 10:45-11 a.m.
- Business, Education, Culinary, and General Studies: 11 a.m.-noon
- GED/HSED: Noon-12:30 p.m.
Students and guests are welcome from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., with all campus buildings open during this period. College representatives will be present throughout the festivities.
Attendees can also purchase Lakeshore College merchandise at a pop-up store in the Lakeshore building using credit or debit cards.
