United Way Manitowoc County is organizing VolunteerFEST, a free event designed for individuals of all ages with a passion for volunteering. The event will be held on Thursday, May 15, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center located at 7001 Gass Lake Rd., Manitowoc.
VolunteerFEST offers attendees the opportunity to meet local nonprofit organizations and explore various volunteer opportunities. Participants can learn how they can contribute to their community while enjoying activities such as painting kindness rocks and savoring popcorn, all provided free of charge.
Visitors are encouraged to begin their experience at United Way’s table, where they can obtain a "travel card." Completing visits to each nonprofit booth allows participants to enter a raffle for prizes including a $15 gift certificate to Farm Wisconsin’s café or $50 in Chamber Bucks.
The event does not require prior registration. Community First Credit Union serves as the Title Sponsor for the Volunteer Center in 2025, while Seehafer News is recognized as the Marketing Sponsor.
