The Sheboygan Theatre Company (STC) is preparing to showcase "Legally Blonde the Musical," opening May 9 at the Leslie W. Johnson Theatre in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. The production, under the direction of Zachariah Stearn and with Eva Stokes as Music Director and Tricia Roberts as Choreographer, promises a lively adaptation of the renowned novel and film about the journey of Elle Woods.

Executive Director Tricia Roberts expressed enthusiasm about the show, stating, "We're delighted to bring this show to our community as it perfectly balances spectacular entertainment with a lot of heart." She emphasized the production’s message of individuality, authenticity, and determination, highlighting the efforts of the talented cast and creative team.

Stearn, who has extensive experience in theater, shared his perspective on the character Elle Woods: "Elle Woods is a pioneer in breaking down stereotypes, a role model for all to see that it's who you are as a person that matters most." Stearn has worked on several productions with STC, contributing his skills as a director and actor.

The musical will be staged from May 9 to May 17, with an ASL-translated performance scheduled for May 17. Tickets can be obtained by contacting the Community Recreation Department or online.

Sheboygan Theatre Company, established in 1934, supports local art through dynamic performances, engaging a wide audience across generations. The organization operates as a volunteer-run non-profit, producing several main-stage shows each year.
