The Clipper City Chordsmen are set to celebrate their 80th anniversary with a spring show titled "Over the Sea." The event will feature performances on Friday, April 11, at 7:00 pm and Saturday, April 12, at 3:00 pm. The venue for this musical voyage is the Franciscan Center for Music Education and Performance located at 6751 Calumet Ave., Manitowoc.

Attendees can expect harmony and entertainment from the Clipper City Chordsmen along with chapter quartets such as Lake Effect, Quandary, BarberPops, Late Expectations, and Harmony to Go. In addition to these performances, the show will host a special guest quartet.

"Three and a Half Men is a dynamic quartet from Central Florida that brings a variety of musical styles to the scene," said organizers. Known for their diverse repertoire in barbershop, doo-wop, vocal jazz, and gospel music, Three and a Half Men holds the title of 2024 Barbershop Harmony Society International Quartet Champions.

Tickets for general admission are priced at $20 for adults and $10 for students aged 18 and under. They can be purchased through Eventbrite.com or locally at Fricke Printing on 14th Street in Manitowoc. Tickets may also be available from members of the Chordsmen.
