The Lakeshore College Foundation has significantly increased its scholarship awards for the 2024-25 academic year, reaching a total of $577,000. This marks an 81% increase from the previous year. The foundation distributed $268,000 to students for the spring semester alone.

Kristy Liphart, Vice President of Institutional Advancement at Lakeshore and overseer of the foundation, expressed enthusiasm about the scholarships: “We were very excited and proud to award scholarships to 636 students this academic year.” She attributed the increase in awards to three new full-tuition scholarships introduced for the 2024-25 year. These include the Kohler Foundation Advantage, Richard F. Brindza Memorial, and Adam Steel Fund.
