Research-In-Progress Award Goes to Lakeshore Technical College VP

Lakeshore Technical College Interim Vice President of Instruction Tanya Wasmer received a Research-In-Progress award from the Mid-South Educational Research Association in recognition of her outstanding dissertation proposal research. Wasmer received the award at the association’s regional conference held in Little Rock, Arkansas in November. She was also chosen to speak about her dissertation proposal at the conference.

Wasmer, who previously filled the role of vice president of strategy and outreach at Lakeshore, earned her doctorate in adult learning and development with a concentration in community college leadership through Northwestern State University of Louisiana. Her dissertation explored the relationship with a student who earns a Wisconsin technical college credential during high school and who then continues their education at the technical college after graduating. ABOUT LAKESHORE TECHNICAL COLLEGE
