FIRST FRIDAY FORUM with Craig Summerfield

Summerfield will provide an update on pending state environmental regulatory issues that are of concern to the business community. In particular, he will focus on ozone nonattainment, and provide an overview on revised boundaries from the EPA and their impact in Sheboygan County. He will also provide an update on other pressing environmental issues, including the state?s regulation of PFAS.
Craig Summerfield is WMC?s Director of Environmental & Energy Policy. Prior to joining WMC, Craig spent nearly 15 years working in the Wisconsin State Legislature, including time as a policy advisor in the Assembly Speaker?s office and a chief of staff in the State Senate.
Craig serves as the WMC representative of the Wisconsin DNR?s Air Management Study Group, Drinking Water & Groundwater Study Group, and Brownfields Study Group.
Summerfield holds a bachelor?s degree in political science and history, and earned his MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
