Cost of college went up for all students at Silver Lake College of the Holy Family

Tuition and fees rose 3.8 percent for 2018-19 at Silver Lake College of the Holy Family, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Wisconsin students paid $28,390 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $1,030 more than the $27,360 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 97 students received grants or scholarships totaling $1.7 million and 82 students took out student loans totaling more than $633,682.

Including all undergraduates (444), 330 students used grants or scholarships totaling $4.9 million, and 254 students took out $1.9 million in federal student loans.
