Abacus Architects, Inc., based in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, has expanded its staff by 25% with the addition of nine new team members. The new hires include a project architect, project manager, several architectural technicians, and interns. This move brings additional capacity to the firm’s offices in both Sheboygan and Milwaukee.
Eric Halbur, president and chief executive officer of Abacus Architects, commented on the expansion: “While we have never set specific growth targets in terms of headcount, our focus remains on bringing in the right people to effectively serve our clients with excellence. Each new team member adds something unique ranging from innovative design thinking and technical expertise to deep experience across residential, commercial, and urban planning projects.”
The list of recent appointments includes Tess Komas as Project Architect; Tim Yokes as Project Manager; Sam Hendrikse, Justin Huenink, Brandon Kaehn-Hill, Jair Medina, and Erina Myftari as Architectural Technicians; Hailey Bergmann as Summer Architectural Intern; and Joshua Vanderkin as Architectural Intern.
