Lakeshore College hosts preview night for prospective students on April 22

Lakeshore College is set to hold its College Preview Night on Tuesday, April 22, from 3 to 6 p.m. at its campus in Cleveland. Prospective students will have the chance to see the college's classrooms and labs, discuss with faculty and staff from 14 different career areas, and engage with the recruitment team about the application process. Information on financial aid and scholarship opportunities will also be available.

Tanya Jaeger, the admissions manager, emphasized the importance of the event, stating, "Choosing the right college is one of the most significant decisions you’ll make in your academic career, and there’s no better way to get a true sense of what Lakeshore has to offer than by attending our College Preview event. Don't miss out on this great opportunity to explore Lakeshore College and how you can become a Snow Leopard."

Lakeshore College, formerly Lakeshore Technical College, educates over 9,000 students each year. It offers a mix of real-world career skills training and bachelor’s degree preparation. Lakeshore is well-regarded nationally, having received high rankings from Washington Monthly, Forbes, and WalletHub.com, among others. The college also earned a Bellwether Award and was named the 2021 Large Business/Industry of the Year by the Chamber of Manitowoc County.

The college sees about 800 graduates yearly, with associate degree graduates reporting a median salary of $61,355 within six months post-graduation. Besides its Cleveland campus, Lakeshore College has additional educational sites in downtown Manitowoc and downtown Sheboygan and offers classes throughout the district.
