52 percent of applicants to Lakeland University were admitted for fall 2018

At Lakeland University, 56 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 57 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Plymouth enrolled 2,497 students in fall 2018, including 1,859 in undergraduate and 638 in graduate programs, data shows. 10.3 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

65 percent of undergraduates are residents of Wisconsin, and 33 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (70 percent) and Black or African American (9 percent).

The school admitted 52 percent of the 1,541 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 28 percent enrolled.
