Senator Eric Wimberger, a Republican representing Wisconsin's 2nd Senate district since 2025, has recently posted several statements on social media addressing topics ranging from sports landmarks to state policy and historical commemorations.

On September 15, 2025, Wimberger celebrated the recognition of Lambeau Field as a state landmark. He wrote, "Lambeau Field is a cathedral for football fans all across the world. Great to see the home of our 13-time world champion Green Bay Packers is now a 'Wonder of Wisconsin.'"

The following day, September 16, Wimberger criticized Governor Evers and state officials over new fee increases impacting livestock producers. He stated, "Governor Evers and his bureaucrats are hitting livestock producers with fee increases as high as 1700%, thanks to theunchecked rulemaking power handed to them by the partisan Supreme Court. These astronomical increases will hurt the farmers supporting Wisconsin's critical".

On September 17, he marked Constitution Day with a message about its historical significance: "Happy Constitution Day! Today, we celebrate the adoption of the final draft of the U.S. Constitution in 1787. Officially ratified in 1789, the U.S. Constitution has become the world's oldest and most influential codified constitution."

Wimberger was elected to his seat in 2025 after succeeding Robert Cowles as senator for Wisconsin’s 2nd Senate district.
