Senator Eric Wimberger, a Republican representing Wisconsin's 2nd Senate district since 2025, has posted several updates on his Twitter account in early September. His recent tweets address state politics, local development projects, and support for the Green Bay Packers.

On September 5, Wimberger criticized recent decisions by the state’s highest court and Governor Tony Evers’ administration. He wrote: "As the partisan Supreme Court continues to rule in favor of Governor Evers' big government policies, his administration feels empowered to cite unrelated cases as they work around the Legislature to advance their agenda with little to no oversight. The following day, September 6, Wimberger highlighted upcoming changes in Northeast Wisconsin: "Massive new developments are coming to Northeast Wisconsin! Great to see big things are ahead in Lawrence. https://t.co/8pU22f6qlp".

On September 7, he expressed support for a local sports team at the start of their season: "Best of luck to our 13-time world champion Green Bay @packers as they kick off the 2025 season! Go Pack Go! https://t.co/tPsP43zfau".

Wimberger was elected in 2025 after succeeding Robert Cowles as senator for Wisconsin’s 2nd district.
