Senator Eric Wimberger, a member of the Wisconsin State Senate, recently addressed topics ranging from government regulation to community recognition and state budgetary decisions in a series of posts on his official social media account.

On July 20, 2025, Wimberger emphasized the importance of regulatory reform, stating, "Our Red Tape Reset is more necessary than ever to protect people from government overreach and cut through red tape put up by unelected bureaucrats."

The following day, July 21, 2025, Wimberger used his platform to recognize local contributions: "Proud to honor Harold Otto with a citation from the Legislature celebrating his 46 years of giving back to the community through Pulaski Polka Days. A big thanks to Harold and his family for keeping this time-honored tradition going!" Pulaski Polka Days is an annual event in Pulaski, Wisconsin that celebrates Polish culture and has become one of the largest festivals of its kind in the United States.

On July 22, 2025, Wimberger criticized a recent decision by Governor Tony Evers: "Governor Evers vetoed new funding for governmental accountability auditors from our new State Budget. What is he afraid of? These auditors would have worked for the state's Legislative Audit Bureau, an award-winning and nonpartisan agency ensuring our state government is working" The Legislative Audit Bureau is recognized for its nonpartisan oversight work in Wisconsin's government. The governor’s veto reflects ongoing debates within the state regarding fiscal priorities and oversight measures.

Senator Eric Wimberger represents Wisconsin’s 30th Senate District. His public statements reflect broader discussions within Wisconsin about regulatory policy, community heritage events like Pulaski Polka Days, and issues related to transparency and oversight in state governance.
