The GameBoard, a game store in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, has announced a collaboration with WFRV-TV for a contest giveaway and promotional campaign. This initiative will feature Lynn Potyen, owner of The GameBoard, on air and include a live event and commercial airing.
The campaign will involve a commercial targeting the corridor to Chicago, promoting The GameBoard's mission of bringing fun and educational gameplay to the community. A "Live at 5" event is scheduled for July 25 at Blue Harbor, where attendees can participate in festivities and receive free prizes.
A key part of the campaign is a gift bundle contest valued at over $100. This contest will be promoted on TV and online with a QR code for entry. The winner will receive top-rated board games and more. Additionally, during the live event, attendees can win a $25 gift card to explore the store's selection of games.
Participants at the live event will also receive branded thank-you gifts like SheBoardGames post-it packs and bracelets as keepsakes.
“We’re excited to partner with WFRV-TV again this year to demonstrate the power of games in building stronger communities,” said Potyen. “This collaboration allows us to showcase how The GameBoard is more than just a game store—it’s a hub where people connect, learn, and have fun together."

The GameBoard was founded by Lynn Potyen in 2006 after her son was diagnosed with speech delay. Since then, she has advocated using board games for education and therapy.
