Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry (WAF) has announced the acquisition of Anderson Global, a leading aluminum foundry tooling manufacturer based in Muskegon, Michigan. This acquisition aligns with WAF's growth strategy in the North American aluminum foundry industry and enhances its capabilities in tooling, casting, and machining.

WAF CEO Sachin Shivaram expressed excitement over the acquisition, stating, "We are thrilled to welcome Anderson Global to the WAF family. John and Betsy McIntyre have built a world-class business that stands as the gold standard for tooling in our industry." Shivaram further noted that the acquisition not only strengthens WAF's internal operations but also ensures that Anderson Global will remain an independent and trusted partner supporting foundries across North America.

Anderson Global, established more than 40 years ago by John and Betsy McIntyre, is renowned for producing complex and high-precision tooling, thanks to its team of over 50 journeymen machinists and a strong engineering workforce. The McIntyres remarked, "As we looked to the future of Anderson Global, it was important to us to find a partner that understands our industry and shares our values. Given our long-standing partnership with WAF, they were the natural choice."

Anderson Global will continue operating as a standalone entity within WAF, with all 80 team members retaining their positions. Sachin Shivaram highlighted WAF's objectives, emphasizing that the company aims to grow by maintaining high-quality tooling standards and supporting the resurgence of American manufacturing.

Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry, headquartered in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, has been in operation since 1909. It is known for its production of aluminum and copper-based alloy castings and a commitment to investing in personnel and technology. Anderson Global adds to WAF's portfolio of foundry and machining-related businesses across the Midwest.
