Manitowoc event organizers are being urged to apply for the Discover Manitowoc Grant. This annual grant program, organized by the City of Manitowoc Room Tax Commission and Department of Tourism, aims to support new events and increase overnight visitors through targeted marketing strategies.
Past recipients of the grant include events such as Lights in Lincoln Park, Subfest, the Wisconsin Sand Sculpting Festival, Manitowoc’s Garden Faire Extraordinaire, and the Maritime Bay Classic.
Event organizers who attract overnight visitors and need additional funding for marketing are encouraged to apply. The funds are limited and will be distributed by the City of Manitowoc’s Room Tax Commission. The program has a three-year funding limit.
