The Holy Family Memorial Wellness Center has achieved a Facility Certification from the Medical Fitness Association, which is recognized as the leading body for medically integrated wellness and fitness facilities in the United States. This certification underscores the center's commitment to maintaining high standards of professional expertise and quality programming.

Tony Bieri, director of operations for the Wellness Center, commented on this accomplishment: “This certification is a great achievement for the Wellness Center and something that the entire staff has worked hard to accomplish. It demonstrates the dedication and commitment to providing our members the best possible facility, programs and education to maintain or work towards a healthy lifestyle.”

The Medical Fitness Association’s Facility Certification stands out as the only certification specifically available to facilities within the medical fitness industry, which serves over four million members globally. The process includes an in-depth review of adherence to internationally recognized standards and guidelines. This ensures that certified facilities offer quality and safety in their services, integrating fully into local health care systems.

The HFM Wellness Center offers various amenities including 75 weekly group exercise classes, personal training sessions, massage services, and specialized classes for cancer and Parkinson’s patients. The center also features lap pools, therapy pools, modern exercise equipment, and full locker room amenities.

Holy Family Memorial is affiliated with Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin health network. It remains a key provider of comprehensive health care services in Manitowoc County since its founding by the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity.
