Top baby names of 2024 announced by two Wisconsin hospitals

HSHS St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay and HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan have released the most popular baby names for 2024. At HSHS St. Vincent Hospital, the top boy's name was Oliver, with Jackson and Bennett as runners-up. For girls, Amelia took the top spot, followed by Evelyn and Nora.

In Sheboygan at HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital, Elliott was the leading name for boys. The runners-up were Caleb, Jaxson, Liam, Malcolm, Noah, Owen, Theodore, and Waylon—all tied for second place. Isabella was the most popular girl's name at this hospital, with Abigail, Eleanor, Evangeline, Gabriella, and Josephine all tying as runners-up.

Both hospitals are part of the Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS), a Catholic health care ministry established in 1875. Based in Springfield, Illinois, HSHS employs over 11,000 staff members across various facilities in Central and Southern Illinois and Eastern Wisconsin.
