3.1% of Sheboygan County residents considered unemployed in 2021

Sheboygan County recorded an unemployment rate of 3.1% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 1,925 people out of the 117,528 living in Sheboygan County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Sheboygan County has decreased compared to the 3.3% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Sheboygan County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 3.5%.

Of the 60,607 people who had a job during that time, 35 were employed in the Armed Forces and 60,572 belonged to the civilian labor force.
