Senator Eric Wimberger, a Republican representing Wisconsin's 2nd Senate district since 2025, recently shared updates on legislative activities and state resources through his social media account.

On September 19, 2025, Wimberger marked National POW/MIA Recognition Day by stating, "Today is National POW/MIA Recognition Day, honoring the service of our military heroes who were held as prisoners of war or are still missing in action. May we always remember the sacrifices made by these men and women to protect our freedoms."

The following day, September 20, he announced the arrival of updated government reference materials: "2025-2026 Wisconsin Blue Books are officially here! Blue Books are great resources full of information on Wisconsin state government and history. Please send a request to my office if you'd like a new Blue Book sent to you:"

On September 21, Wimberger reported on recent legislative proceedings: "I joined my colleagues in the Senate Judiciary Committee for a public hearing on 5 new bills on Wednesday, including two that will crack down on human trafficking and vandalism."

Wimberger was elected to the Wisconsin State Senate in 2025 to represent the state's 2nd Senate district, succeeding Robert Cowles. As a member of the legislature and participant in committee hearings, he regularly provides constituents with information about state government resources and ongoing legislative efforts.
