Lakeshore College in Cleveland, Wisconsin has reappointed Monica Nichter to its District Board of Trustees. The board also welcomed new members Abbey Quistorf and Mary Parrish during the organizational meeting on July 14.

The newly elected officers for the upcoming term are Monica Nichter as chair, Kim Rooney as vice chair, and Don Pohlman as secretary/treasurer. Lakeshore's board consists of nine members, including employer and employee representatives, additional members, an elected official member holding a state or local office, and a school district administrator.

The terms for the three board members sworn in on July 14 will end on June 30, 2028. Nichter was reappointed as an additional member after retiring from her role as executive director at Froedtert Holy Family Memorial in 2021. Her career spans various leadership roles in healthcare management.

Mary Parrish works at the Sheboygan County Historical Research Center with responsibilities that include marketing and volunteer coordination. Previously, she co-owned Kvindlog Services Inc. with her husband for 15 years.

Abbey Quistorf is the executive director of The Chamber of Manitowoc County and holds multiple roles within local organizations such as Progress Lakeshore and the Two Rivers Business Association.

Lakeshore College educates over 9,000 students annually across various campuses including those in Manitowoc and Sheboygan. It is recognized nationally for its educational excellence by entities like Washington Monthly and Forbes.
