FOIA Request to Sheboygan County Regarding Freedom of Information Act Logs from January to October 2024 on October 7, 2024.
EC Wisconsin News, a media organization committed to comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, has sent a request for records under the Wisconsin Open Records Law. We are seeking access to the county's Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) logs from January 1, 2024, through October 7, 2024.
The specific fields we are interested in include the requester's name and organization, the content of their request, the date it was made and completed, as well as its current status. As a media outlet involved in gathering and reporting news to the public, access to these public records is essential for us to fulfill our professional responsibilities. This includes holding public institutions accountable and providing transparency to the public.
