The City of Manitowoc's Parks & Recreation Divisions are excited to share a draft of the 2023 City of Manitowoc Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (C.O.R.P.) for public review.  Shaped by extensive outreach, the plan guides the investment in parks and recreation, facilities, trails, and open space areas over the next five years.  This type of plan is a requirement to remain eligible for state and federal grants.

The draft plan is available online at https://www.manitowoc.org/2467/Comprehensive-Outdoor-Recreation-Plan-20 or can be viewed in person at the City Hall Parks Office at 900 Quay St., Manitowoc.  Comments are welcome and should be emailed to parksadmin@manitowoc.org or mailed to the City of Manitowoc Parks Division, 900 Quay St., Manitowoc, WI 54220 by January 18, 2023.

After receiving public comments, the plan (with any accepted changes) is expected to be presented to the Public Infrastructure for approval on February 1st with final approval expected from the Common Council in early spring.
