Starting Monday, October 17th, the City of Manitowoc Parks Division will begin the process of closing and winterizing the majority of the park restrooms and drinking fountains for the winter. Due to recreational activities in the parks, six public restroom areas will remain open all winter:
Halvorsen Park;
Lighthouse Park;
Lincoln Park Cabin #1 public restrooms;
Lincoln Park Zoo;
Manitou Park; and
Silver Creek Fieldhouse public restrooms.
The Parks Division expects the remainder of all restrooms to be closed on or before the end of the day on Monday, October 31st.
