Hike the Trails of Two Rivers

Need some exposure to nature for fun or reflection? Today, the first Saturday in June, is National Trails Day. It’s a day to recognize all the incredible benefits federal, state and local trails offer.

Whether out for a leisurely stroll or a brisk run, there are many paths to explore in Two Rivers.

Two Rivers is fortunate to have several miles of the Ice Age Trail nearby.

Mariners Trail offers miles of unobstructed views of Lake Michigan.

The Patrick Gagnon Memorial Trail winds through the the Lester Public Library gardens.

Take the Rawley Point Recreational Trail from Two Rivers to the Point Beach State Forest just north of town.

And don’t forget the paths of the Woodland Dunes Nature Center and Preserve!

It’s a beautiful weekend. Pack a picnic lunch and hit the trails!
