City of Sheboygan issued the following announcement on April 8.
The Municipal Board of Canvassers meets after each local election to certify election results. For the April 5, 2022 Spring Election, the Board will meet on Friday, April 8, 2022 at 9:00 am to certify the results for the municipal offices in the City of Sheboygan. There are five Aldermanic offices that were on the ballot – Districts 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10. In District 10, the unofficial results brought the candidates within one vote. On election night, it was brought to the City Clerk’s attention that the tabulator results and ballot count had a discrepancy of one ballot. This ballot could impact those results. The Municipal Board of Canvassers will review all results and make the determination on the outcome of the election at the Friday meeting. The meeting will be held in City Hall in Conference Room 106 and is open to the public.
