Plymouth Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.
PHS to present ‘Bye Bye Birdie’ as spring musical
Date:
March 10th 2022
Plymouth High School will present the family-friendly “Bye Bye Birdie” as its annual spring musical March 10-13. “Bye Bye Birdie” tells the story of a rock-and-roll singer about to be inducted into the army. His staff plans one final publicity stunt: He will bid a typical American teen-age girl goodbye with an all-American kiss. The chosen one is a 15-year-old from Sweet Apple, Ohio, who has just been pinned to a local boy. Shows of “Bye Bye Birdie” will begin at 7 p.m. Thursday March 10, Friday March 11, and Saturday March 12, with a matinee at 2 p.m. Sunday March 13 in the Plymouth High School Auditorium, 125 S. Highland Ave. Reserved-seat tickets cost $9 and are on sale in the Plymouth High School office. Any remaining tickets will be available at the door an hour before each performance.
