Learn the basics of repair and hemming at Manitowoc Public Library on Thursday, January 27, at.6 PM. We’ll look at simple repairs, buttons, hemming, and minor altering in this adults-only program. Zipper replacement is not included in this particular workshop. Space is limited and registration is required. Registration opens January 4 at 9 AM on the “Events” page at MPL’s website (www.manitowoclibrary.org). Please bring in one item with you to the session that you’d like to mend and Betty will help you to get started. Participants must be badged on the sewing machines in MPL’s Idea Box makerspace to take this workshop. Once you register, you will receive dates and times you can get trained on the sewing machines in the Idea Box.
