The Chamber of Manitowoc County issued the following announcement on Sept. 29.

The Manitowoc Parks and Recreation Division and Two Rivers Parks and Recreation Department would like to extend an invitation for you to participate in our 1st annual City to City Costume Fun Run on October 23, 2021! We are seeking local businesses and organizations to participate in our "Trick or Treating" event at the end of the run. The 3.3 mile run will take place along the Mariners trail, beginning at the Spirit of the Rivers Wayside in Two Rivers and ending at Burger Boat Park (by the Briess lot) in Manitowoc. At Burger Boat Park, we will have a stage set up for a costume contest and to announce race winners. There will also be tables for your business/organization to set up a "Trick or Treating" station for race participants and their families. The Farmers Market will be taking place and participating in the Briess lot a the same time.

Set up for the Trick or Treating stations will begin at 9:00 am. The first wave of runners should reach Burger Boat Park at approximately 9:30 am.

If you are interested in sponsoring a "Trick or Treating" station at the end of the run, please RSVP by October 15th by contacting Katie with the City of Manitowoc or Ethan with the City of Two Rivers. We have limited stations available and will be guaranteed on a first - come, first - served basis.
