16

City Of Manitowoc issued the following announcement on Sept. 14

The City of Manitowoc, in collaboration with Manitowoc County and Bay-Lake Regional Planning Commission, has developed a Water Trail Plan and would like to share it with the community.

The Manitowoc River Water Trail spans from the Clarks Mills Dam to Lake Michigan along with the Little Manitowoc River.   The plan inventories existing access sites and lays out recommendations for improvements to those sites.  It was developed with the goals of increasing and improving access for non-motorized boating such as canoeing and kayaking along with creating a recognizable, accessible, and enjoyable water trail.

Come join representatives of the City, County, and Bay-Lake Regional Planning Commission for the unveiling of the Manitowoc River Watershed Water Trail Plan on Wednesday, September 15th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Manitowoc Senior Center, 3330 Custer St.
