City of Manitowoc issued the following announcement on Sept 28.
Maritime Metro Transit is giving the public a 30-day notice that changes to Routes 3 and 5 will be happening sometime in November of 2020. The most notable changes are:
The South 39th Street transfer point will move to Harbor Town Lane near Petco;
The Walmart stop will be relocated to Grand Avenue; and
The Silver Lake area of Route 5 will be eliminated.
New route maps will be made available before the changes occur in November.
Individuals can sign up to receive important text or e-mail notices from Maritime Metro Transit by clicking on the “Notify Me” button on the City of Manitowoc’s homepage and following the directions to subscribe to Maritime Metro Transit News Flashes.
