Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry, a recognized leader in manufacturing custom aluminum and copper-based alloy castings, is now a finalist in the 2025 Manufacturing Leadership Awards. These awards are facilitated by the National Association of Manufacturers’ Leadership Council.
The company has been acknowledged in the Partner in Collaborative Innovation category due to its project with Gravity. Gravity is a prominent enterprise involved in carbon accounting and energy management. Together, they aimed to enhance energy efficiency at WAF’s foundry located in Crookston, MN. The initiative was partially funded by a Department of Energy program focusing on small- and mid-sized manufacturers but has been paused amid a federal spending review.
“We are honored to be selected as a finalist for this prestigious award,” said Sachin Shivaram, WAF CEO. He emphasized the importance of innovation and collaboration, stating, “We take an innovative, entrepreneurial approach to helping customers find solutions to their manufacturing challenges. In addition, our team takes pride in establishing positive, collaborative relationships with our partners. Those two things, innovation and collaboration, benefit everyone involved and make us all successful.”
Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry employs more than 1,000 people. Its divisions include locations in Manitowoc, WI; Wabash, IN; Crookston, MN; New Hampton, IA; and Muskegon, MI.
The winners of the awards will be announced at the Manufacturing Leadership Awards Gala on June 18, 2025, at the JW Marriott in Marco Island, Florida. This event is part of Rethink: Accelerating Digital Transformation in Manufacturing.
