Regular gas was sold at the lowest price of $2.41 per gallon at one gas station in Manitowoc County during the week ending Feb. 28, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
Countywide, regular gas averaged $2.50 per gallon.
Of the 47 reported gas stations in cities within Manitowoc County, 25 offered regular gas.
The statewide average price of regular gas in Wisconsin was $2.52 per gallon for the week ending Feb. 28, a decrease from the previous week.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
