The Spring Baby Fever event will return to the Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Scheduled on Saturday, April 12, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the event invites visitors of all ages to interact with baby farm animals.
Attendees will have the chance to see various animals, including alpacas from LondonDairy Alpaca Ranch, sheep and a lamb from White Granary Farm of Door County, goat kids, baby bunnies, and piglets. Guests will also meet some of the farmers caring for these animals.
Abigail Winkel, Farm Wisconsin’s brand manager, expressed gratitude towards local farmers, stating, “We are so grateful for local farmers who are willing to share their animals and talents with our visitors. It’s a great opportunity for our guests to interact with baby animals, while also learning from our interactive exhibits and other features at Farm Wisconsin.”
The event will feature Halei Heinzel, the 77th Alice in Dairyland, leading a hands-on animal activity. The Wisconsin Café, located on the premises, will offer breakfast, lunch, and homemade soups from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Activities are included in the general admission price, and tickets can be purchased at the event’s front desk or in advance on the Farm Wisconsin website.
The Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center aims to connect visitors with Wisconsin agriculture and its significance. Regular admission prices are $18 for adults, $14 for seniors, and $10 for youth, with free admission for children under two.
