Time Out Sports Bar & Grill in Manitowoc is partnering with the Manitowoc County Historical Society (MCHS) to support local history education through a fundraising event. The initiative, titled “Give Back Monday,” will take place on July 7 from 4 to 8 pm at the bar and grill located at 1027 N Rapids Rd.

Amy Meyer, Executive Director of the Manitowoc County Historical Society, expressed gratitude for the community’s support: “We are so appreciative of our local restaurants and their efforts to help us raise funds to support our mission to preserve and share our local history.”

The proceeds from this event will benefit MCHS by supporting its operations and educational programs. As a private non-profit organization, MCHS relies on membership dues, tours, fundraising events, and donations for funding.

MCHS operates Pinecrest Historical Village, a living history museum situated in Eastern Wisconsin’s Ice Age Kettle Moraine countryside. The 60-acre site includes a Welcome Center with exhibits and research services, along with over 25 historic buildings furnished with period items reflecting early Manitowoc County settlers’ lives.

Pinecrest Historical Village was established in 1970 following a land donation from the Hugo and Eleanor Vetting family. It has since evolved into a representation of an early 1900s Wisconsin community featuring various architectural styles. The buildings form the commercial, social, and political heart of a town.

For further details about MCHS or Pinecrest Historical Village, interested parties can visit ManitowocCountyHistory.org or contact the museum directly at (920) 684-4445.
