Senator Eric Wimberger, who represents Wisconsin's 30th Senate District, has recently used his social media platform to highlight several key developments in the state. His posts cover topics ranging from sports leadership transitions to significant investments in public infrastructure and criminal justice staffing.

On July 24, 2025, Senator Wimberger extended retirement wishes to a prominent local sports figure, stating: "Wishing a happy retirement to @packers President Mark Murphy! From guiding Green Bay to its 13th NFL championship, building the Titletown District, and hosting the 2025 NFL Draft, Mark leaves behind a legacy for Northeast Wisconsin on and off the football field."

The following day, he addressed ongoing concerns about road conditions in Wisconsin. On July 25, 2025, Wimberger wrote: "Everyone loves to joke Wisconsin has only two seasons - winter and road construction. But there's no joking about how our new State Budget invests in fixing our highways. $322.5 million will help repair highways across Wisconsin, and $318.8 million will support new highway".

On July 26, 2025, Wimberger highlighted an initiative aimed at bolstering legal resources across the state: "Proud to have led the charge to secure 42 new assistant district attorneys for communities across Wisconsin in our new State Budget. Seven of these positions will be created in Brown County, along with 2 serving Shawano and Menominee and 0.5 each for Marinette and Oconto".

These announcements reflect priorities frequently discussed by state lawmakers as they seek to address both economic development and public safety needs throughout Wisconsin. The addition of assistant district attorneys is intended to reduce caseloads and improve judicial efficiency statewide.

Senator Wimberger’s focus on infrastructure investment aligns with ongoing efforts by Wisconsin legislators to address aging roads and bridges through targeted funding increases within recent state budgets.
