Senator Eric Wimberger has been active on social media, sharing updates on legislative progress and initiatives. His recent tweets cover a range of topics including education funding, cost-saving measures for local taxpayers, and healthcare access in rural areas.

On June 20, Senator Wimberger expressed his satisfaction with the progress made by the budget committee in passing a significant investment in special education funding. He stated, "Proud to have joined the budget committee this past week to pass a historic investment in special education funding for schools across Wisconsin."

In a subsequent post dated June 21, he announced the Senate's approval of a bill he authored, which aims to reduce financial burdens on local taxpayers. According to him, "This week, the Senate passed a bill I wrote that will save local taxpayers money. Senate Bill 162 will cut needless red tape and allow Brown County to negotiate directly with its only daily newspaper when setting prices to publish county board proceedings."

Lastly, on June 23, Senator Wimberger reiterated his support for expanding healthcare access in rural Wisconsin through legislative change. He urged the Governor to act in favor of this bipartisan effort by stating: "Proud to vote once again for this critical change to expand access to healthcare across rural Wisconsin. Hopefully, the Governor will do what’s right, stop listening to special interests who only want to preserve their power, and finally sign this bipartisan bill into law."

The proposed legislation regarding Brown County is intended to streamline processes and potentially reduce costs associated with publishing official proceedings.
