The Manitowoc County Historical Society Museum and Pinecrest Village will host a Winter Weekend 'Victorian Romance' themed program on February 15. The event, located at 924 Pinecrest Road in Manitowoc, is scheduled from 11 am to 3 pm.
Adjustments to the program are being made due to predicted weather conditions later this week. These changes aim to ensure the safety of guests and volunteers attending the event.
Visitors are advised to dress appropriately for winter weather as Pinecrest Village grounds will be snow-covered. Activities such as snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, or sledding are encouraged, though participants should bring their own equipment.
Program highlights include a presentation on Victorian women's fashion undergarments at 11:30 am. Additionally, antique horse-drawn sleighs may be present, depending on weather conditions. Blacksmiths will also demonstrate their trade in the shop.
All activities are included with general admission. Prices are $15 for adults, $13 for seniors aged 62 and above, $10 for children aged 4 to 17, and free for children under age four. Members of the Manitowoc County Historical Society receive free admission.

The Manitowoc County Historical Society is located in Eastern Wisconsin's Ice Age Kettle Moraine countryside. It features a Welcome Center with exhibits and research services alongside Pinecrest Historical Village—a collection of over 25 historic buildings reflecting early settler life in Manitowoc County.
Pinecrest Historical Village was established in 1970 through a land donation from Hugo and Eleanor Vetting. It replicates a small Wisconsin community from the early 1900s with various architectural styles represented among its buildings.
