Step Afrika! scheduled to perform in Kohler as part of Distinguished Guest Series

This April, Step Afrika!, a professional dance company dedicated to the tradition of stepping, will perform in Kohler, Wisconsin. Founded in 1994, Step Afrika! is known for its performances that combine rhythm, movement, and storytelling influenced by African American traditions and the African diaspora. The group has performed internationally and is recognized for connecting audiences through culture and history.

Stepping is a percussive dance form that uses the body as an instrument through footwork, clapping, spoken word, and call-and-response. The event will conclude the 81st season of the Kohler Foundation’s Distinguished Guest Series. This series aims to provide access to arts and educational opportunities in the community.
