Senator Eric Wimberger has recently taken to social media to share updates on various projects and commemorations of historical significance. His posts highlight efforts in environmental improvement, regional development, and honoring military history.

On June 5, 2025, Senator Wimberger announced that his budget motion aimed at increasing low-cost loans for clean water had been adopted by the Finance Committee. He expressed pride in this achievement, stating that “Putting more into the Environmental Improvement Fund helps municipalities of all sizes battle emerging contaminants like PFAS.”

The following day, June 6, 2025, he highlighted the redevelopment of the Port of Green Bay as a significant project with state-wide benefits. According to Wimberger’s post, “With the help of $15 million from the state,” this initiative is expected to enhance Northeast Wisconsin’s role in global supply chains.

Later on June 6, Senator Wimberger paid tribute to the armed forces on D-Day’s anniversary. He remarked on visiting a local museum dedicated to veterans’ history by stating: “Today, we commemorate the bravery and sacrifice of our armed forces who stormed the beaches of Normandy.”
